Que dire après l’année que nous venons toutes et tous de vivre ? On ne peut rien affirmer quant à l’avenir mais on peut espérer, être confiant•e•s et optimistes ! Plus que jamais, nous avons besoin de nous réunir et partager des moments de beauté, de joie et d’émotion avec des artistes de notre ville et du monde entier. C’est dans cet état d’esprit qu’au CCN¹ nous abordons cette nouvelle saison 2021/22. Malgré la crise écologique et sociale, les raisons de croire en vous, spectateur•trice•s, et en nous, artistes et lieux de création, sont nombreuses : désirs d’art et urgence de se retrouver sont là.
Depuis le début de cette crise, au CCN¹, le petit nombre de femmes et d’hommes qui constituent sa vaillante équipe n’ont eu de cesse d’être sur le pont pour accompagner comme il se doit les équipes artistiques à traverser cette période difficile, mais aussi garder le lien avec les publics et préparer au mieux cette nouvelle saison à venir. Face à la mondialisation de la pandémie, nous avons gardé notre esprit solidaire permettant malgré les confinements, les couvre-feux et autres restrictions nous coupant de nos espaces de vie sociale et culturelle, de préserver la rencontre fondamentale des œuvres avec leurs publics. Cette visée solidaire n’aurait pu se faire sans les alliances tissées depuis des années avec nos partenaires publics et politiques ici à Orléans, en région et en dehors de nos territoires proches. Elle n’aurait pu se faire sans le dialogue constant avec les artistes et sans une écoute de tout instant de notre équipe quant à leurs besoins et leurs nécessités. Si cette crise a aussi mis à mal notre secteur économique et socio-professionnel, elle en a fait ressortir aussi les forces : la responsabilité partagée, la solidarité, l’écoute et la bienveillance. Au CCN¹, nous nous sommes engagé•e•s auprès des artistes comme des publics à agir et mettre en avant les valeurs que nous défendons. Art et citoyenneté, écologie et féminisme mais aussi la création comme une priorité. Cette crise mondiale n’ayant fait que renforcer notre conviction que l’art était plus qu’ESSENTIEL.
Chaque époque croise ses monstres, la nôtre essaie de mettre sous le tapis le besoin inexpugnable des humain·e·s à donner du sens à leur vie. L’art ouvre cet espace en nous que nous mettons du temps à comprendre. L’art nous confronte, par des formes qui nous bouleversent, à nos insuffisances mais aussi à notre imagination. Il est une expérience intime et collective qu’aucune « distraction » ne peut offrir, précisément parce qu’il sollicite la part la plus profonde de notre intelligence, de notre interrogation existentielle. C’est pourquoi sa rencontre est toujours une nouvelle conquête, un nouveau défi, contre nous-mêmes, contre toutes les forces qui nous poussent à être conventionnel•le•s, conservateur•rice•s, paresseux•euses. L’Art est essentiel à la santé de la société. L’art est par nature subversif parce qu’il nous amène à remettre en question notre compréhension de la réalité. S’il est parfois politique au grand dam des gens de pouvoir, il peut être aussi beaucoup plus. L’Art interroge le spectateur dans tous ses rapports avec l’univers. Il est amené à se remettre en question, à revoir ses pris pour acquis. L’art est une sorte de catalyseur qui peut initier les changements et les ajustements nécessaires pour la continuité de la société. Et cette aventure n’a pas de fin, elle n’a pas de prix…
Tout nous montre aujourd’hui que l’enjeu de notre vivre ensemble n’est pas d’arbitrer entre des prétentions concurrentes indépendantes, mais bien de développer une éthique de la responsabilité dans un contexte donné. Responsabilité de prendre soin de soi et des autres. Comment allier la danse et la politique du CARE ? Comment penser un ensemble de gestes artistiques et de prises de paroles visant le maintien de la vie et de la dignité des personnes ? Cette éthique féministe met au centre de l’expérience morale la dépendance et le souci de l’autre, plutôt que la liberté et le détachement. Nous savons la place privilégiée que nous avons ici et en tant qu’institution. Nous voulons agir comme AIDANT•E. Comment agir alors pour et avec les minorités, les plus opprimé•e•s ? Comment le projet artistique du CCNO peut-il refléter son temps, contribuer à un mouvement pour un mieux vivre ensemble ? Nous ouvrirons ces questions par le prisme de l’art en rendant possible des moments où art et société se confondent, en créant des moments de vie sociale. « Sensibiliser », « initier », « apprendre », « comprendre », « écouter », « faire », « parler », « dire », « ressentir », « expérimenter », autant de mots qui viendront accompagner notre travail ou encore éveiller les sensibilités des publics. Ensemble pour réfléchir et apprendre à mieux vivre ensemble.
La discrimination des genres, la discrimination raciale, le droit des femmes dans la société n’est plus à démontrer. Si le CCN¹ est vigilant à maintenir la parité au sein de son projet, membre contributeur du Collectif HF en Région Centre — Val de Loire, il continuera de s’engager comme il l’a toujours fait pour l’égalité des genres et contre la discrimination.
Le CCN¹ a également la volonté de relever de façon ambitieuse et concrète les défis d’un développement durable dans les politiques culturelles. Je suis convaincue de l’intérêt que les acteur•rice•s culturel•le•s portent au développement durable et aux enjeux de transition sociétale. À ce sujet, et avec toute l’équipe, mais aussi avec les politiques et les partenaires, le CCN¹ tentera d’inventer des dispositifs ayant pour objectif de préserver les ressources et la qualité environnementale du territoire, de favoriser l’économie circulaire et responsable, et de renforcer les solidarités, avec la volonté de conjuguer exigence et dialogue, engagement et pragmatisme, innovation et évaluation. C’est à partir d’un autodiagnostic, qui prendra en compte les différents piliers du développement durable (environnement, économie, social, management), que le CCN¹ s’engagera dans cette transition. Les enjeux environnementaux devant traverser toutes les missions. Si l’art façonne notre regard et notre rapport à la Nature, il n’a peut-être jamais été aussi engagé depuis l’émergence d’un mouvement d’art contemporain dit écologique. Les éco-artistes directement inspiré•e•s de l’écologie scientifique, revisitent la relation Humain•e-Nature, et c’est dans cette lignée qu’ici au CCN¹, nous œuvrons pour la recherche d’un nouveau vivre-ensemble, en tentant de nouer étroitement enjeux esthétiques et éthique environnementale.
