Lundi 18 septembre, à l’Olympia, c’était l’ouverture du festival Cadences avec « Giselle (s) », de Marie-Claude Pietragalla et Julien Dérouault et seize danseurs du Théâtre du corps.
On ne peut plus danser le ballet « Giselle » comme à sa création en 1841. Si à cette époque le sort des femmes n’était pas enviable – elles n’avaient aucun droit – force est de constater que notre époque, avec un nombre de féminicides croissant, les cris d’alarmes ne sont pas vains. Voilà le thème qu’ont choisi Marie-Claude Pietragalla et Julien Dérouault pour recréer le ballet en première mondiale à Arcachon.
