Dans le cadre de la politique en faveur du patrimoine et de la recherche en danse, le Centre national de la danse met en œuvre depuis 2010 un programme d’aide intitulé Aide à la recherche et au patrimoine en danse.
Objectifs
Ce programme a pour objectif de soutenir la conception, le développement et la diffusion de ressources en danse, élaborées par les professionnels du secteur. Il a pour mission essentielle la création d’outils dans le domaine de la danse, et plus largement du corps et du mouvement, pouvant servir la communauté artistique dans son évolution, et le public en général pour son information.
Cette aide doit permettre d’explorer les éléments constitutifs de la danse, d’expérimenter de nouveaux outils d’écriture chorégraphique, ou de constituer le patrimoine chorégraphique et faire vivre le répertoire, en dehors de tout objectif immédiat de production et de création de spectacle.
Le projet pourra s’inscrire dans les champs de la recherche (recherche fondamentale sur le corps et le mouvement, recherche appliquée sur l’élaboration d’un langage chorégraphique, etc.), du patrimoine (notation d’œuvres chorégraphiques, constitution d’autres ressources, etc.) ou de la pédagogie (transmission des savoirs en danse, etc.).
Cette aide doit favoriser l’élargissement du champ de la recherche, aussi bien par les sujets envisagés que les méthodologies déployées. Dans le domaine du patrimoine, elle doit s’attacher à la conservation et la documentation d’œuvres du répertoire chorégraphique français et étranger, afin de constituer, à terme, un fonds de partitions chorégraphiques de référence, pour, notamment, en faciliter la reconstruction scénique.
